Porn is OK until it is someone you know. People often ridicule those who know just how degrading pornography is. New psychological research is now beginning to demonstrate the danger internet porn has on many people. Yet, many claim how liberating women are to be free with their sexuality. It empowers, not degrades women claim many porn advocates. Jenna Jameson is one of the few porn stars to find financial success in her career of porn. Most other porn actresses are often left broken, addicted, and suicidal. (1)
When interviewed by Bill O’Reilly, Jameson said she felt she was “having a positive influence on people,” although she said she should is not “a role model.” The porn actress went on to say that she is “very family-oriented, and she knows that her career will have a major impact on her children.” She said she had already laid down the law and would quit making porn before she had children. When O’Reilly asks if there is nothing wrong with it, why does she feel the need to quit? Jameson responded, “it’s okay for a single woman.” (2)
Recently Charlie Sheen said he did “not condone” his 18 yeard daughter, who is an OnlyFans model. OnlyFans is the latest craze which provides a platform for anyone to sell themselves. Sheen’s daughter recently announced she was joining the subscription site. Sheen blamed his daughter’s decision on her mother, Denise Richards, and said there is nothing he can do his daughter is an adult; he hopes she keeps it classy. The whole point of OnlyFans and other similar platforms is to see unclassy things. So Charlie’s wishes may be for naught.
The irony is that the former Two and a Half Men star was notorious for dating porn actresses and supporting their careers. (3)
