Former FBI director James Comey has recently testified that he didn’t know what to do when President Trump remarked that ” ‘I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go,'” he said he agreed wit the President and agreed that Mike Flynn was a good guy
When questioned, Comey stated he felt he was being directed to drop the investigation. When questioned further and asked why he didn’t report Trumps behavior, Comey said “I don’t know”
Is anyone still wondering why he was fired?? The highest law enforcement office in the world didn’t know what to do? He has been in public office for over 10 years.
Comey had a of of —I don’t know — I cant answer that — I am not sure answers. The man who was certain Hillary Clinton had no criminal intent when she sent classified information over an unsecured network and deleted thousands of emails AFTER being subpoenaed was certain however that President Trump was ordering him to shutdown an investigation
James Comey was the director of the United Stated Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI—established in 1908 —is the domestic intelligence and security service of the United States, which simultaneously serves as the nation’s prime federal law enforcement agency. Operating under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI is concurrently a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community and reports to both the Attorney General and the Director of National Intelligence. A leading U.S. counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, and criminal investigative organization, the FBI has jurisdiction over violations of more than 200 categories of federal crimes .
Yet he didn’t know what to do when he felt a sitting United States President was ordering him to drop an investigation?
