The Big Keep Getting Bigger

First the Government helped the “Big” banks get bigger, now they are helping the “Big” beer companies get bigger.

The Obamacare calorie labeling requirements will cost a business as much as $77,000 to implement. When does an exaggeration become a lie?

When you are the front runner for the Republican Presidential nomination that is when. trump

I am not going to regurgitate all the facts regarding Trumps recent comments about witnessing “Thousands” of Muslims celebrating after 9/11. Mark Steyn has an in depth piece that covers all the minutia.

The Washington Post,  no friend of the right wing, in a Sept 18th 2011 piece reported; “there was celebrating going on”. At best Trump was exaggerating. But so was The Washington Post‘s Glenn Kessler, who has awarded “four Pinocchios” to Donald Trump for his comments.

Kessler wrote;” .. There were some reports of celebrations overseas, in Muslim countries, but nothing that we can find involving the Arab populations of New Jersey.”

Since this was reported by the same paper Kessler works for, it makes you wonder, just how hard did he look?  At best this is journalistic laziness at it’s utmost pinnacle, at worst it is an outright omission of facts, facts that didn’t fit Mr Kessler’s, nor the rest of the MSM narrative on the subject.

So Trump exaggerated, and won’t admit to it, a trait not uncommon to some Nyers. Kessler omitted the facts and won’t admit to it, not uncommon for many of today’s journalist.
